      Angry Final straw

Hi,I'm fed up with being robbed by our glorious goverment, weather, immigration laws and the general
grayness of life in the UK.New zealand really appeals
to me but I'm worried a little about the low wages there
to the general living costs. Can anyone put me right on this?

      Thanks

Is New Zealand not like Scotland? Or so I have been lead to believe!

I know NZ is in a recession (isn't everywhere) and wages are low, however standard of living can be quite good though.

      Hi Tim,
thanks for your reply.I presume you meant the landscape when you say New Zealand is similar to Scotland.I'm just hoping you didn't mean the weather.

I have friends who emigrated to NZ about 10 years ago and absolutely love it! They come back home every couple of years (to Scotland) if they can, but enjoy life there so much I don't think they'd consider moving back.

There are some great sites which give good advice about emigrating to NZ (we considered it for a while..) and of course, they are always looking for people! They work a points system as far as I know .. I'll see if I can find the site to paste ..
