Thread: hello everybody

hi everyone..

I'm still in the uk but going through the process to move to nova scotia. We're going on the nova scotia nominee program community identified stream. A long process (and costly) but less risky than the skilled worker stream and not quite so drawn out as just filling the forms and waiting 4 or 5 years. We are quite far on in the process and the nerves are starting to kick in. I would really appreciate some honest advice from anyone who has made the pond hop. All the people we have met on our trips to the province have been really lovely, but want us to come to live so naturally paint a rosy picture. I could do with some warts and all advice on everyday stuff.

Welcome to the forum. We migrated to Australia about 5 years ago and although exciting it is pretty scarey leaving every form of 'normality' behind. The first few months are tough but thankfully it all works out in the end.

Best of luck with the move, not sure we have any memebrs in Canada but I could be wrong! Lots of general migration advice on offer though!
