      Hello everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on for ages but so much been happening what with waiting for our Visa and putting the house on the market with not even 1 viewer it was starting to get me very DOWN but glad to say the Visa side is coming together.
I was having problems with yet another agent this would have been the 3rd so with the help of Gill decided to finish the process on my own best thing ever to decide and managed to get in touch with our CO who asked for our 2nd instalment which has now been sent so hopefully it wont be much longer , we have to validate by 25th Dec which excited our Daughter no end as she thought we would be there for Xmas but unfortunitly not what with work commitments and the price of flights at that time of year so we will probably go out in Nov and come back until our house sells , we are beggining to think that will take years but not much we can do about it we should have put it on the market a year ago but we didn't so have to work round it all.
Gald everyone is doing well and things are going well for this new site it will soon be as busy as PIO
Good luck to everyone waiting for Visa,s

      Hi Andy,
Thats a shame its a lovely Detached House in Scotland very near to Edinburgh I,m sure you would rather relocate to the cold wet damp weather up here than the heat of Aus Ha Ha only joking, we didn't know we could go on a CPV Visa 2yrs ago when we bought it or we wouldn't have done but thought it an investement for when we retired anyway just like everyone else trying to sell we just wait and see something will have to be done to move the market eventually until then we just keep working away and save as much as we can for when we do go.
      Regards

      Hi Evelyn.

At the moment i live on the south coast of the UK but want to retire to Oz within the next 8 years.
I'm not too sure how to go about it or whether i can, i will have to look into it later, in fact i think i'll post a question on the Forum and see what kind of replies i get.

Nice to have you here again.

      Take Care

      Andy
