I'm working for an independent research consultancy called FreshMinds, looking at trends in the expat market. The research is not for publication as it's being done for a private client.

I'm trying to find out what drives you to become expats, that sort of thing. And I'm wanting to understand what impact, if any, the current economic climate is having on you as expats in the Middle East and would love to hear some thoughts directly from you.

I'll keep everything you tell me confidential and anonymous - I'm bound by a strict code of ethics. Please feel free to ask any questions.

I really wanted to hear who you are as person Natalie, ie, married, where you live your interests etc.

No it's not a rule that you have to post that, but it helps us understand where your'e coming from so to speak Natalie.

Anyway i hope you get some answers from the members that live in those specific places.
