Hi, I'm a wannabe "BritAbroad" - still stuck in Scotland but OH and I doing our best to make the move to Oz (Adelaide)! Early on in the visa process but we will get there ( I cannot suffer another Eurovision Song Contest!).

Hi, have you joined our other site www.pomsinoz.com - Brits is the baby, PIO has been going 3 years tons of info and advise .. not that I'm trying to get you adicted to both sites.

Hi , you're right... these sites are addictive! Starts off with just the odd post here and there and before you know it , you are speaking with complete strangers more than your OH!!!! (think it will be grounds for divorce if I don't remove myself from computer asap!!).
We are very early on in the whole process - passed Vetassess and just about to lodge app for SA gov sponsorship. OH thought he had job offer in Sydney back in March so the whole app got put on pause til we knew the score. It wasn't to be ......however, Sydney too pricey anyway.
Spent a few days in Brisbane last year - loved it.:spinny:

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but they show the Eurovision Song Contest over here aswell!!!!

Everything else about Oz is good tho, so you will be fine!!!!

Nice to see there are some others from sunny Scotland (at the moment )I am fairly new to both sites but like everyone tells you it can become very adicted couldn't tell you last time I watched TV first thing i do when I finish work is log on to see what is happening. Everyone is so friendly and helpfull aswell as give you encouragement to keep going.
