thanks for friendly response people!well basically to answer the questions put to me-i'm 31, a bricklayer(been a brickwork foreman last 2 years),i feel like i'm working for nothing here(uk) and i'm fed up,i've heard that my trade is needed in that part of the world and realy fancy the idea of trying it out with a view to eventually being a permenant fixture.....like you guys.make sense??????? i also heard perth has a lot of work at the mo-location would be dictated by work really

      Hiya Dan
there is loads of work for brickies around south brisbane, gold coast areas.Ali is probably your best to quiz on perth ,i heard things had a slowed little there although i dont know how true that is.
Are you single or would you be wanting to bring misses, kids etc ? to stay here permantly you either need a permant residency visa(18mths of stress,a fair few grand but a ticket here in the end!lol) or by coming out and trying to get a company to sponser you,not sure how a working holiday visa goes if you have dependants or even if you can get one,
