    Hi Everyone

I am new to the site and wanted to say hi and make some new friends. I am fed up with life in england and would like to find out where people would recommend in the world??
The most important aspects of any country are securing opportunites for my 2 children to go through good schooling and have a potential future.
I would need to secure a career for my self and my good lady would want to work part time (would be great to find a role where she could choose whether she worked or not due to my wages etc lol)

Anyway sorry for waffling but hi everyone and have a great day.

Hiya and welcome to Brits Abroad, we escaped the UK for sunny Brisbane nearly 3 years ago, one of our biggest reasons ,like you, was for the children. Thankfully i think we made a pretty damn good move and haven't looked back yet. What occupations are you in ?

I'm an operations manager in the steel industry although only 12 months into the role, previously first line manager in warehousing 6 years and i have worked in sales (And been a manager in that industry too). My partner is an assistant manager in a food led pub and is a personal license holder over here which we know would still require her to sit the equivalent qualification in oz.

The main problem we have is that when our business went under 5 years ago now it wiped out any savings etc we had and so we would basically be emmigrating with no more than our clothing and probably a few thousand in the bank not ideal but i love a challenge lol.
