Hi everyone!
Im Delice, married to Richard for just 2 years. He inherited 4 children and 7 grandchildren from me and I inherited his cat! Im a nurse and he is a director of a local newspaper. We have bought an apartment in Turre in Almeria and we are planning to retire in two years time ( one of few benefits of working in NHS is can take early retirement ) and move to Spain for at least 6 months of the year, if not permanent. I am enjoying reading all the threads on this site and hearing all of your experiences.

Hiya and welcome to brits abroad ,we lived in Spain for a little while before moving here, we lived about an hour south of Alicante in a little village near Mazarron, i must say its a tad warmer here,lol

Hi Delice,

Welcome to the BA forum! Glad you are here, its a good idea to live six months there and six months in the Uk - I have known a few that can do that to get the best or both worlds.
