Thread: Hi, I've been in Spain a while but new here

Hello all,

I thought it was time to catch up with the rest of the world as I have
been buried in the Spanish countryside for a few years and the internet
only arrived here recently!

Good to be back in the land of the living and look forward to chatting from time to time :-)

But seriously, it is amazing the huge amount of ex-pats who have been "forced" to return
to the UK or their country of origin since the recession hit.

There were 62 families in one small town (big village) near me who have gone back...poor them!

Welcome to the forum Karen. I'm quite new here too (the forum that is... not Spain, as I've been in lanzarote for 5 years as of the 24th September).
