Thread: Hi just joined

Hi everyone ,
My name is Evelyn and I live in Bathgate Scotland with my OH John we have 2 grown up girls 1 of which is in Aus , we are planning to join her and her family on a Contributary Parental Visa which we have been waiting over a year to get to this stage, we hope to go to the Gold Coast though they are in Manly at the moment,
Lodged application June 07 with Medicals done
Police checks sent July 07
Case Worker not sure as didn't get informed
Daughter had interview at Centrelink 23rd May 08
Bond placed 5th June
House on the market 11th June

So now just back to waiting again to see what happens next nice to meet everyone and would love to hear from people in the same boat who live around this area

hiya ,hopefully they wont keep you waiting much longer ,it drove me insane all the waiting ,i would hate to have to do anything like that again ,im too impatient,lol

Thats what hubby says " you have to be patient" its not even been on the market a month but thought we would have at least had someone being nosey,I feel I have spent nearly 2yrs waiting we had just bought this new house when daughter told us about CPV so feel as if life has been on hold for past 2yrs and people think we are going to be swanning about in the sun they need to try it and see how stressfull it really is but have to keep mouth shut as john wanted to seel it and go into rental year ago and was talked out of it so paying for that mistake now but its got to sell sometime, Any ideas welcome

Patience is definately the name of the game with a CPV! My parents are almost there, just waiting for July 1st!! Everything paid and done , just a house to sell!
