      I'm New - Adelaide!!

      Hello everyone

We moved to Adelaide last Oct from Essex / London with our baby boy. He is now 13 months.

We are loving living in Adelaide, but i do get homesick sometimes. Trying to get through the down times ( i always new there would be some!) and be positive as i know we don't want to return to England and on the whole we are very happy living here. Looking for some new friends to chat with xxx

Hiya Jenny im in Brisbane ,have been here nearly 2 years now and loving it.Its pretty normal to feel like your on a rollercoaster for a good few months,as long as they good days are outweighing the bad ,im sure youll be ok.My trick was to keep yourself busy, giving you less time to dwell on what youve left behind.

      welcome

Hi Jenny, I use to live in London and I am now living in Broken Hill, 5 hours away from Adelaide. I love Adelaide, hoping to move there in the near future. I get home sick too, quite a bit actually and i miss my mum so much. getting through these times are hard! If you have any advice on how you cope pass it on haha
