      Huh? New Recruit

I am in the Mugla region of Turkey. I would welcome hearing from others in this area or other parts of Turkey.

cerberus1 is on a distinguished road
I'm a bit of an archeology fan, so always wanted to visit Turkey, so many historical sites of interest there. Not sure if I'll get the chance now I'm in Oz, just that little bit too far for a holiday.

The world is small really - opportunities too great to be missed - so don't let distance prevent you exploring the wonders to be found!! Good luck! We love it here - even though we love UK too!!

Thanks! My partner & I bought a couple of properties here - so we've been here on and off since 2007 - still trying to grasp the Turkish language though. Turkish people are very warm and accommodating and I love their cultural way of life. Our long spells here are a bliss for us - we spend more time here than in the UK. By-the-way I have several friends in Oz (Perth, Waga Waga & Tasmania) and we have been to Melbourne, Tasmania & Perth.

Hi Rainflower, and welcome to Britsabroad!
Learning the language would be pretty interesting, sounds like you're trying to fit in there in Turkey. You think you'll eventually end up there permanently?
