I've lived in the USA since September '08. Originally from Lincolnshire England.

I live in California, close to San Francisco.. I love it here.. was wondering if there are other Brits on here that live close by or in the North Bay Area.

Hi Denise - yep, I live in Mill Valley in Marin County!! You picked a good spot to land especially when the weather's like this in March! We got here in October 2007 (from Dorset) so we've done a fair bit of exploring the area and getting to know people and love it here too.

Hi Traveller.. Yes I agree.. it is lovely here.. My new husband grew up here.. he was originally from San Francisco and has only ever lived in another state for a short time.. I couldn't have wished for a better area to live.

It's really cold just now in Lincolnshire where I came from.. my mom still lives there..

Now looking for work in the area too.. but in the economic climate I know I'm going to find it hard to do.. but I will get there eventually..
