Thread: New to site but not to Oz: looking for pen-pal

Hi everyone,

Pen-pal is a pretty old fashioned term I would imagine. It must be years since I used a pen for anything other than a shopping list.

We live in mid Qld having moved from Victoria some years ago. I miss the southern climate, in particular the lighter nights that you get. If there is anyone from the Colac or Moe area I'd love to be in personal contact.

I'm very much a wrinkly but young at heart. I have a loving husband and little dog and we live on a bush acre. My main hobby is doing the family tree but I also enjoy reading, pastel painting and cross-stitch.

Looking forward to meeting up with someone, probably once Christmas is over and we all have more time to spare.

Hi Tink, Thanks for the greeting and I hope your Christmas is going well too. I can see we both joined very recently. Do you have any idea what the "distinguished road" is that we are on? That's what comes up when you hold the cursor over the little green spot over on the left and under the avatar/photo. I'm guessing Tink is the name of that saucy little dog? Ours is Chloé, not from our choice but that's what she was when we got her from the dogs' home 10 years ago. We're 50 km west of Bundaberg, where are you?
