I have been to OZ twice, once for 3 months and once for 5 months. I travelled aroud, even go to go to Lord Howe island, some Aussies do not even know where that is. The most favourite words from Expats were "back home "..... No wonder the Aussies called them whingeing pome. It is the same in Cyprus. The Expats compain, just complain. You either do something about it, accept it, or leave, but please, do not just complain, and do nothing. Makes my blood boil.

I have found exactly the same with other nationalities to be honest. I have met many Aussies in the UK and all they do is complain about the weather or the food or the beer or just about everything else. Not all of them of course, the same as any nationality.

And what is the favourite topic of conversation in Britain , the weather ! nothing else to stimulate them ?

Why does it make your blood boil? Surly its not "that" important in the grand scheme of things.

We have a big land mate, but it sure is a great place LHI. Yep geography can be hit and miss here but like that back in the UK as well. You are either interested in the land or not.

Whingers, get them everywhere, me I mix with the natives, healthier!
