    food where you are

As we're digressing a bit on the weather thread, thought I'd start a new one

Well tonight we're off to a local eatery called the Salaloy. Already decided we'll share a Green Chicken Curry and probably a couple of other dishes and rice and a couple of glasses of glugging wine for me and a couple of beers for Mr Skink. They do a brilliant curry and one thing you can say here, the food is very inexpensive. Typically we'll spend 500 Baht there which is about 9 quid.

Food in Dubai is really good. On weekends Dubai is well known for the brunches, and there is a bargain to be had for every budget. Last week we went to JW marriot, eat and drink, including champagne works out at 40 uk pounds, you get 4 hrs to eat and drink, and this can be extended till midnight for a further 20 pounds. It may seem steep but take in mind a pint and a glass of wine can be as much as 11.00 pounds.

Ive been told everyone that comes her put on the famous dubai stone in weight, lol
