      F1

How many of you F1 fans are annoyed that the first GP has been cancelled due to th trouble in that country ?
I am actually quite happy for the teams and pit crew who always look foreward to the booze ups at each meeting and Islamic country's are always a let down. I speak from experience of working in conection with the sport in the past and hope all the Gulf state GPs are cancelled.

Who wants to spray scented water on the winners podium ?

Don't know about the booze side of things, the main criticism seems to be that they're shiny brand spanking new, fantastically constructed, but there's just nobody attending, the locals aren't interested.

Was quite looking forward to seeing the new McLaren in action, but I guess I can wait the extra couple of weeks for 'local' GrandPrix in Melbourne.

I think it has been cancelled due to civil unrest and not because the locals are not interested. I can't wait for the season to start myself, I used to live and work F1 before I came here and last season was the most exciting since I can remember, it just seems to get better every year. I used to sneak under the fence at Silverstone in the late 60's, got free tickets every year after that through either friends or my work.
I am a true McLaren fan.

I didn't manage to stay awake to see it which I am ashamed of.
A good result for the young German and Hamilton, I wish Button had just got 3rd.
